Karilyn T. Starks is an author, speaker, and entrepreneur. She is the founder of DAVAP, Domestic Abuse and Violence Awareness and Prevention. She also runs the publishing company Ionogen Media. She has written the comedy Flat Dog Dreams (with Dan Liechty), the screenplay Burden of Justice, and the docu-drama Clipped Wings. Toxic Tweens is her first non-fiction book. Karilyn is currently working on a screenplay, a novel, and her next non-fiction book. She lives in Colorado with her loving family.
